Everyone loves the Silver Room on Milwaukee Ave for their favorite pieces of choice jewelry and know that spot is THE lifestyle spot to be seen being fabulous.
Everyone also knows that their annual Block Party is one of Chicago’s hidden in plain sight jewels in the summer. Low key, easy going, full of eye candy and people watching…the block party is a summer must DO each year. This year’s theme for the annual event is “A BETTER WORLD” and our friends at Congo Square Theater are doing their part to being art for arts sake into a better world.
This year, Congo Square Theater gets in on the fun with an exclusive – the ensemble is opening Silver Room’s Block Party this year with an homage to hip hop.
This Saturday July 16th @ 12 noon we will all be welcomed to the event by Congo Square Ensemble member and Artistic Director Daniel Bryant, who will introduce a short scene from Kesav M. Wable’s For Flow. The piece is directed by Congo Square Ensemble member Tracey N. Bonner and featuring Kamal Bolden and Jerod Haynes.
12Noon… Saturday July 16th… BE THERE.
