2011 Sci-Fi Flickin’ – Source Code

Another dose of “flicks I want to see” lands in theaters on or around tax day 2011, and if you know me, you know this one is right up my alley.

The alley is labeled alternate reality and  the film is called Source Code.  For this one we have the Jake Gyllenhaal in a sci-fi tale that focuses on a soldier who wakes up in the body of a commuter who witnesses a train explosion.  Shot in my hometown of Chicago, it looks exciting and intelligent. It also looks like the Jake is following in the footsteps of Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible swagger with a bit of the boyishness of Matt Damon’s Bourne Identity.

We shall see Jake… check out the trailer.
